Helen Hayes leads the Northern & Eastern Europe legal team at Uber. Having trained and qualified at DLA Piper, she spent 10 years in the litigation department specialising in commercial litigation and technology disputes, before moving to Uber in March 2016. The legal team has grown substantially in line with the business, and deals with a broad range of issues which includes complex regulatory requirements as well as day to day legal issues and problem solving. Helen works closely with the business, advising the UK Board on legal and regulatory compliance matters. She splits her time between London, Amsterdam and North Yorkshire where she lives with her husband and 2 teenagers.
