Keynote address | Ruby Wax
Ruby Wax is an actress, comedian and author. After a successful career in both the U.S. and the UK, Ruby went on to write two best-selling books combining neuroscience, mindfulness and comedy. She presented her TedTalk at TedGlobal 2012 What’s So Funny about Mental Illness? She has been working tirelessly to raise money for neuroscience research and break the stigma around mental health.

Carolyn Fairbairn | Director General of the Confederation of British Industry (CBI)
Carolyn joined the CBI as Director-General in November 2015. Her career spans a range of leadership roles in business, media and government, with particular experience in the finance and broadcasting sectors. Carolyn has extensive FTSE board experience, including as non-executive director of Lloyds Banking Group, the Vitec Group and Capita plc.
Kirsty Wark | BBC Journalist
Kirsty Wark is one of Britain's most experienced television journalists. She has presented the BBC's flagship nightly current affairs show Newsnight for nearly 25 years. She also hosted The Review Show for over a decade. She has conducted long form interviews with everyone from Margaret Thatcher to Madonna, Harold Pinter to Pete Doherty, Damian Hirst to George Clooney and the likes of Toni Morrison, Donna Tartt and Philip Roth.
Cressida Dick | Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police Service in London
Cressida was the first woman to be appointed a Metropolitan Police Assistant Commissioner in 2009. She has held leadership roles in each of the organizations she has worked in, the Metropolitan Police Service, Thames Valley Police, the National Police College and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. Cressida has overseen a wide variety of high-profile and complex policing investigations spanning serious and organized crime, security and protection.
Risa Goluboff | Dean, Arnold H. Leon Professor of Law, Professor of History, University of Virginia School of Law.
Risa is the 12th, and the first femaile, dean of the Unviversity of Virginia School of Law. A nationally renowned legal historian, Goluboff focuses her scholarship and teaching on American constitutional and civil rights law, and especially their historical development in the 20th century. She is the author of the award-winning “The Lost Promise of Civil Rights” and “Vagrant Nation: Police Power, Constitutional Change, and the Making of the 1960s,” as well as numerous other works.
