Hogan Lovells’ Commitment to Women Recognized

by Emily Yinger, Partner and Demetria Johnson, Director of Diversity and Inclusion

For the second consecutive year, Hogan Lovells was named to the highly regarded Working Mother Media and Flex-Time Lawyers “50 Best Law Firms for Women” list, ranking among the top legal practices recognized in 2013 for family-friendly policies and business development initiatives focused on women. We have been committed to helping women excel in the practice of law and in management within Hogan Lovells, and being acknowledged for these contributions is confirmation that we are doing the right thing.

Building on this momentum, we are excited to host the Working Mother Media and Flex-Time Lawyers’ Best Law Firms for Women: 2013 Findings, Trends & Best Practices program on 28 October. Hogan Lovells and other winning law firm representatives will share best practices and innovations they have in place to help retain and promote female talent. Providing support for success through networking events, discussion groups, and outside speakers is a key element of Hogan Lovells’ formal women’s initiative.

Working Mother Media and Flex-Time Lawyers founded the “50 Best Law Firms for Women” initiative in 2007 to celebrate the law firms that are most successful in retaining and promoting women lawyers. The initiative also provides benchmarking tools for law firms to enable them to improve the status of women in their firms in the future.
