Hogan Lovells Meets the Gold Standard

by Demetria Johnson, Director of Diversity and Inclusion

We are excited to report that Hogan Lovells has received the Women in Law Empowerment Forum (WILEF) 2013 Gold Standard Certification, based on the number and caliber of women who hold leadership positions in our offices around the world. Receiving this certification is a confirmation of our commitment to women, which is an important strategy for our firm. And it’s a strategy in action. Our global legal practice has and will hold several key internal and external events, including the recent Global Women’s Executive Summit.

WILEF created the award three years ago to honor legal practices that are making significant progress in integrating women into leadership positions. Law firms with 200 or more practicing lawyers in the United States are eligible for the WILEF Gold Standard Certification. Upon successfully demonstrating that women represent a meaningful percentage of equity partners in the areas of leadership, governance, and compensation, Hogan Lovells is one of a few select firms chosen for this prestigious honor this year.
